Creating makes me happy.  I make art for the joy of the process and the satisfaction of seeing an idea in my head brought to life in glass.  I love to use bold, vibrant colours to create whimsical and quirky art that makes people smile.  

Glass bead making is an ancestral skill that dates back more than 3,500 years. The art of glass beads was inscribed on the UNESCO representative list of  Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2020.  This highlights the centuries-old knowledge and shared skills involved in creating glass beads, particularly from Murano, Venice, and in France. It is not just about the beads themselves but the living art and tradition passed down through generations.
